Dandy Lion Sparkler

Lift your spirits and re-ignite the flame with this drink. It will get the party roaring!

Serve over crushed ice and, go foraging for a pretty little dandelion flower to garnish the glass.

Special equipment needed for this recipe?

A can of Rishi Dandelion Ginger Sparkling Green Tea. If you can’t find it, you can use Dandy Blend Herbal Coffee alternative and make a batch to the instructions on the bag/jar. Chill it and then proceed with the recipe. If you forage, you can make your own Dandelion Coffee from the roots of the dandelion, chill and proceed.

The other components for this drink are a couple of cocktail glasses, or wine glasses. If you don’t have crushed ice, you will need a plastic bag and a heavy bottomed pan or mallet to crush the ice cubes.

Can this recipe be made in advance?

You can prep the crushed ice in advance and keep it in your freezer. I wouldn’t assemble the drink until just prior to serving.

Can this recipe be frozen?

Outside of the prepped crushed ice . . . no.
