Where the Journey Begins

A Chef’s Grimoire Magazine takes the mindset about food and menu planning to a different plane.  By using the tarot cards to help guide you towards your next recipe, you are certain to always pinpoint what it is you are craving.  The cards wisdom leads you to cuisines and methods of cooking in order to develop a new understanding of not only the card, but also techniques to make you more confident in the kitchen.

The Magician
behind the scenes:
Chef Lisa

As a Chef, living in the Hudson Valley, NY, I look for inspiration everywhere. But, I’ve exhausted the local library of their cookbooks and sometimes stare at the google screen blankly thinking, I’ve made that, done that, yep, that too. Enter the Tarot. I decided one day to flip cards for inspiration of my next meal plan and, do you know what? It worked! I already had a very good understanding of the symbolism and meanings of the cards, so with that as my guide, finding the recipes that correlate from card to kitchen was easy. And so, A Chef’s Grimoire was born.
